How should we assemble teams and develop skills to support a new era of Spatial Development Strategies?
The Strategic Planning Group recently held its fifth thematic session, examining how to assemble effective teams, enhance sector-wide skills, and build capacity to support the successful delivery of the next generation of strategic plans.
Key questions included:
> What is the ideal team structure to deliver an SDS?
> How can we build capacity and effectively address the skills gap?
> What should be the relationship between SDS teams, wider Local Planning Authority teams, and those responsible for other relevant plans and strategies?
We’d like to hear your thoughts.
