Over my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, in places that are equally varied, from Damascus to Rio de Janeiro, alongside exciting projects in London and all around the UK. Only by being part of a dedicated and talented professional team has this been possible, and our practice exists to put our accomplished combined skills at the service of some very ambitious projects that bring a positive impact to the places we work.
My background as an Architect largely informs the role I play on projects, but over the years I have developed a deeper interest and appreciation for the increasing breadth of disciplines and expertise needed to create successful places, and to navigate the process for getting there.
I always try to look at a project from the perspective of the communal experience; the potential for our work to bring people together is the essential element for me, and it exists in every project we take on.
The work we do as masterplanners requires a collective effort and it’s very satisfying to have seen the practice develop in strength around this collaborative ethos, with the involvement of other creative practices alongside our own, to form an exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced team.
