Growing up, I was always fascinated by how spaces could evolve and shape the lives of their inhabitants. I enjoyed imagining and planning spaces, envisioning how spaces could influence the way we live and interact. This early interest in the built environment naturally led me to pursue a career in interior design, where I learnt to balance aesthetics and function in transforming spaces.
Through my involvement in various large-scale design projects and competitions, I realized my interest extended beyond individual interiors. I became increasingly intrigued by how neighbourhoods and communities are designed. This passion inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in urban design and city planning, which provided me with a holistic understanding of shaping urban environments to benefit the local environment, economy, and community.
As an urban designer at Prior + Partners, I see each project as a chance to create spaces that prioritise the experience and well-being of their users. Driven by the ideas of fostering inclusiveness, promoting sustainability, and enhancing everyday life, I am eager to apply my skills, creativity, and vision to shape the future of our communities. Witnessing firsthand how our collective efforts can enhance the quality of life in our city is incredibly rewarding.
