With over 20 years of professional experience in architecture and the built environment, I have been fortunate enough to have been involved in a wide range of ambitious schemes from around the globe. Having joined Prior + Partners in 2020 as an Associate Director, I brought my leading design skills and extensive business experience, across a range of mixed-used developments, to the practice. Whilst placemaking, urban design, quality public realm and architectural excellence continue to drive my interest.
Urban regeneration projects are complex and fascinating endeavours that require a thoughtful and flexible approach. Brief development, the establishment of key principles, urban concept ideation, planning, master planning and narrative strategies are fundamental for the successful creation and transformation of our towns and cities. Over the last few years, I have been deeply involved in Ecological Innovation Districts (EID), a new type of urban regeneration project, both in the USA and UK. Working on our masterplan for Google in Moffett Park in California has been a unique opportunity to further develop this idea of an EID. The project focused on the transformation of an innovative suburban business park into a vibrant place of choice where workers, visitors and residents can thrive in a highly sustainable mixed-use district with walkable streets and an extensive network of open spaces and vibrant plazas.
I am very excited to be part of the next phase of Prior + Partners; developing urban strategies, designing great places and working alongside talented, passionate and supportive colleagues and our client and consultant teams in the delivery of new forms that add value to communities.
