Early in my architecture studies, I discovered a passion for landscape design and creating public spaces. I have always believed that well-designed public spaces not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of our cities but also positively impact the mental health of the users. This led me to start a master’s degree in landscape urbanism after completing my architecture studies. My diverse background in architecture, urban design, and landscape has given me a comprehensive understanding of spaces and how to enhance the quality of public areas. I am passionate about design and discovering the stories behind public spaces.
Throughout my career, I have worked on a variety of projects, ranging from market squares and public spaces in London to large-scale infrastructure projects and masterplans around the world, including the UK, KSA, UAE, Kuwait, USA, Bahrain, and Oman.
To further pursue my passion for design and share the knowledge I have accumulated over the years, I became involved in academia. I currently teach at two universities in London, where I hope to help future designers start their careers. Being in academia provides a great opportunity to engage with and be inspired by the next generation of designers.
