Urban Designer / Masterplanner

Prior + Partners have immediate opportunities for Urban Designers and Masterplanners to take a central role on prominent masterplanning and regeneration projects across the UK and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable commitment to shaping successful places and communities to the highest standard. Your workload will include a range in scales, from major regional frameworks to site level masterplans and development strategies.

We're looking for:
Candidates from graduate level and those with up to 10 years’ experience that can demonstrate skill and experience in the following core areas:
> Housing-led and mixed use masterplanning projects;
> Place visions and strategic growth opportunities;
> Successful outline planning applications;
> Design coding at all scales;
> Within project teams and working in multi-disciplinary environments.

Preferable skills:
> An architectural background with RIBA Part 2 (or a masters in urban design), or a landscape architecture background with relevant qualification;
> Excellent drawing and graphic presentation skills and the ability to explain design ideas and evolution of a concept;
> Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent report writing abilities.
